Quality Engineer - 1st Shift

Creating of quality documentation and development of SOPs for Harrison products to YFAI BOS and customer standards2.
Reviewing and improvement of systems and processes to ensure the maintenance of standards to YFAI BOS and customer standards3.
Maintaining accurate quality documentation and quality records for compliance to YfAI BOSand customer standards4.
Working closely with Harrison manufacturing and support team to ensure SOPs are followed and documentation is correctly maintained5.
Auditing the Harrison manufacturing and support teams to ensure YFAI BOS requirements are followed and documentation is correctly maintained6.
Scheduling and closing of all layered product audits for the Harrison internal auditing team7.
Communicating and implementing any new changes based on a quality reviews and quality concerns 8.
Analyzing problems reported and developing improvements to improve or eliminate them9.
Assisting other quality team members with task and requirements to fulfill YFAI BOS and customer requirements10.
Reporting of statistical analysis of Harrisondata and creation of reports for corporate or senior staff members 11.
Working closely with customers to meet requirements for PPAP submissions for customers12.
Submitting all Harrison IMDS with customers to meet requirements for PPAP submissions forcustomers13.
Suggesting continuous improvement ideas in the quality and manufacturing processes14.
Utilizing troubleshooting or problem solving skills to resolve issues15.
Utilizing proper judgement in communication with customers when required16.
Monitoringassemble operations to determine compliance with Customers' product function and craftsmanship requirements17.
Utilizing working knowledge of PFMEA's, control plans and operator instructions to ensure compliance to YFAI BOS and customer standards18.
Performing other duties deemed necessary by the Quality ManagerRequirements:
Education/MajorBachelor's Degreein Engineering Work Experience3 years in the automotive industry and atleast 3-5 years in the quality field - Stellantis and/or Ford customer experience is strongly preferred.
Recommended Skills Auditing Automotive Industry Business Process Improvement Customer Experience Maintenance Regulatory Compliance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
